Danny graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1997. After a brief internship working on various projects with a small firm in Memphis, Tennessee, he moved to Birmingham to work for a large healthcare architecture firm. Before joining Rob Walker Architects in April of 2010, Danny gained nine years of experience in the healthcare industry which greatly strengthens his knowledge of space planning and coordination.
Since coming onboard with RWA, Danny has had multiple opportunities to use his skills as both designer and planner with diversified experience in computer applications involving schematic design, design development, and construction documents; all of which allows him to coordinate an array of projects with engineers. Danny has designed and worked on project types such as institutional, commercial, residential, and sports facilities. He has worked extensively on 2D and 3D computer renderings of buildings and site plans to convey the intent of projects for presentations. With years of professional experience in the discipline of architecture, he brings an excellent portfolio with a variety of expertise to the firm.
Danny has been active in the American Institute of Architects (AIA) since 1997. He served on local and state AIA boards as well as being the Regional Associates Director for the Gulf States Region from 2005-2007 which represented Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee.
